Accommodations & Layout

LOWER LEVEL

This level consists of five watertight bulkhead compartments. The stern features a large after peak fitted out for storage.  Forward of the after peak is a large lazerette and shop with a 2600 gallon water tank and a generous amount of storage. Forward of the lazerette is the spacious ENGINE ROOM with 10 to 12 feet of headroom including generous walkway around the main engine generators which are located port and starboard. The CO2 fire suppression system and the centrifuge are located at the forward bulkhead. The boiler for the radiant heat and endless supply of domestic hot water is located on the port side. All pumps and machinery are located for convenience in this one large space, Many vessels of this size have machinery scattered over various sections of the boat.  Next Forward of the engine room is the focsole  divided up into 2 generous well appointed staterooms and a library with mahogany bookshelves and an emergency escape hatch.

MAIN DECK

At the stern is a large Turks seat with the heavy duty steering quadrant located underneath.  
Moving forward through double glass doors one enters the aft salon which features: six 18 inch bronze portholes, recovered from a WWII Victory ship; a wood burning stove with a tile hearth; oak composite flooring; an outstanding cambered beam ceiling; and a stylish all tile head with porthole. Wiring is in place for a satellite TV/telecommunications system.  Continuing forward is the spacious pantry with washer and propane dryer and a  small fridge. Forward of the pantry on the portside is a beautiful 20’ deep galley with Honduras mahogany cabinets, handcrafted tile backsplash, a professional 6-burner stainless steel propane range, dishwasher, microwave and 42” double door built-in refrigerator. Opposite the galley on the starboard side is the master bath with Jacuzzi tub, large beveled mirror, power flush toilet, pedestal sink, storage closet, and all tile bulkheads and deck. Outside the bath is a companionway leading down to the engine room and the entry to the large upper engine room where the day tank is located.  Forward of the galley and companionway, situated mid-deck is the dining salon appointed with antique cabinets, all wood flooring and cambered ceiling. Most forward is a delightful, cozy double state room appointed with mahogany built-in queen bed and storage below, cambered ceiling and Pot lights heated warmly by an antique radiator for those cold romantic nights.

UPPER DECK

Moving up the companionway from the dining salon leads to the curved pilot house which is classically appointed  with a mahogany captain’s desk.  At the aft bulkhead sits a 36” original brass wheel and steering pedestal, Oak floor gratings, Wabco engine controls and room for installation of the latest in electronic technologies, the port and starboard pilot house doors lead to the walk around Portuguese bridge. 

Aft of the wheelhouse is the MASTER STATEROOM, complete with its own head and sink, classic 18 inch bronze portholes which adorn the mahogany paneled bulkheads, There is plenty of room for a queen size bed and furniture of your choice.

 TOP DECK

Spacious flat area above the aft salon, surrounded with stainless steel life lines with plenty of room for seating and water toys.  A sturdy davit is located on the starboard side. Perfect spot for outdoor parties or just relaxing.  The owners have enjoyed annual 4th of July parties featuring live bands.
