This barge has spent her life in fresh water. She had a complete bottom replacement using 3/8" steel in February 2010 including all new structural beams were replaced in the hull at a cost of over $100,000.00. The barge has a 50 ton American Crane. The crane has a new engine rebuilt 2 years ago and all new turn table, gears and shaft along with all new cabling. Both barge and crane are like new, The bottom was painted with an extra coat of epoxy tar before going back in the water.
